Hey all,
How many of you like Jack Johnson? His music is good to relax to. I could picture him in a place like Starbux.
He not only sings by himself. I have some stuff where he is singing with other people and groups like G. Love & Special Sauce.

Hi, one of my best friends is a big Jack Johnson fan. I'm not a superhuge fan, but he's kind of fun to chill to at the bar or a nice summer party. I can't do long JJ sessions, cause I find him to be a bit too mellow at times. But overall, I think he's a pretty good artist.

I really like his music, I think his voice is very original and it's definitely relaxing music. Probably my favorite songs are Sitting Waiting Wishing and Questions. I agree though that you have to be in the right mood to listen to that type of music, but then again I'm one of those people who likes to put all my music on a random playlist and listen to whatever comes up.

the music's alright, but I'm not a fan of the sometimes snobbish culture that surrounds his music, and the hardcore JJ fans can be unbelievably obnoxious.

Yeah, I can believe that, he's definitely not one of my favorite artists but it's a refreshing break from the crap we normally hear on the radio today when one of his songs comes on.

I've been a huge Jack Johnson fan since I first heard "Banana Pancakes", although I couldn't tell you where I heard it. His music is very very mellow and sometimes the mood's just not right for that sort of thing, but I've never been in a mood to dislike it. Some of his newer stuff has gotten a bit angry, politically, which I always enjoy hearing. Lol. "Sitting, Waiting, Wishing" is a great song, and the previously mentioned "Banana Pancakes", and "Better Together" and most of that CD, really. And "Monsoon" and "Sleep Through the Static" are two of my favorite songs at the moment. I've heard him with the Black-eyed Peas, which is interesting, but I didn't know he did anything with G. Love. I'm not a big fan of his, except when he's with Tristan Prettyman, but I might have to find it anyway.
